# Transfer
Scan just the first QR code to transfer from your Switch 1 console. You can transfer up to ten screenshots or a single video. Select Photos or iCloud Drive as the export destination. Are you playing on a TV? No problem; with zoom, you can comfortably scan the needed QR code from your sofa.

View the screenshot & videos you transferred in a convenient gallery; items are grouped by game and can be quickly shared.

Version History ## Transfer reliability improvements

Tranferring screenshots and videos from Switch 1 should work better now, including the first setup. The screen also has design tweaks and supports full-screen gallery so you can preview screenshots in full before transfer.

This is still quite a complex feature with many ways that can go wrong, if you see anything weird, then please let me know.
### Gaming Report improvements

Gaming Report now correctly handles "Ongoing" games, plus you can quickly hide entire sections without having to deselect all games. Design has been improved for Liquid Glass UI. 5.6.1 1d ago ### New lowest price "highlights"

SwitchBuddy now makes it easy to spot deals that offer the lowest price yet. There is new badge in Deals list, filter option and the price alert notification will let you know as well.

### Updated for iOS 27

I have revised the app to make sure it looks great on the newest iOS. This update also contains UI fixes and tweaks for iOS 17 and iOS 18.

### Widgets reliability improvements

Fixed issues when widgets could stop displaying covers for some games. Also fixed issues when game couldn't be opened from widget.

And as always other smaller fixes and tweaks. 5.6.0 Oct 1 ## Playthroughs vizualization

Added new screen that chronologically shows all your game playthroughs. If you have both Finished and Playing statuses saved, it calculates the number of days it took to finish the game.

You can now easily see how many games you played through in given year. Open the new screen from bottom of Favorites or from Stats.

Also other small tweaks and improvements. 5.5.1 Sep 11 ### Ability to filter all games

New screen available from Games tab and Search lets you specify filter criteria and view all relevant games. This makes it super simple to find games for 2+ players on single console for example.

### iPad improvements

Lots of design improvements for iPad to better use larger screen. Not perfect but I hope you will notice the improvements.

And also other minor design improvements for all platforms. 5.5.0 Sep 5 ## Improved Trending games

SwitchBuddy now uses own popularity data to show currently popular games. This should make the list more interesting and fresh.

- Better price checking logic to make sure you get the sale notification and the app shouldn't now send the same notification twice by mistake
- Fixed Wishlist not refreshing after region change
- Better Weekly Picks card design
- Stuff in the app should now load faster 5.4.5 Aug 22 ### New "Ongoing" game status

Some games don't really have an "end" and so now you can mark these as "Ongoing" to separate them from "Playing" status. It is up to you :)

Support for New Zealand eShop 5.4.4 Jul 22 - Improved notifications about game delays: The app will also let you know when game gets delayed without exact new date

- Better order of eShop variants for games that have multiple

- Smaller design tweaks and fixes 5.4.3 Jun 24 - Ability to delete screenshots/videos from Gallery

- Fixed "Featured Up Next" widget that could sometimes show the same game twice

- Fixed visual glitch in light mode on some screens with pinned headers

- Wishlist games with sale ending soon have hourglass icons to remind you 5.4.0 Mar 31 ## Sorts for Genres & Game modes

Discovering new games by genre or game mode is now better. Lists are sorted by release date (showing newest games first) and you can change this to view best games first (based on OpenCritic score) or perhaps see the oldest.

## Better long press for games and gallery

When using the "Grid" layout - the one that shows only covers - the long press preview will show you name + other data like tags or rating for your favorite games.

Screenshots and videos also have better long press previews that are bigger and videos autoplay allowing you to quickly confirm you selected the right one.

With the new version you can quickly render image showcasing your recent games - currently playing, backlog + wishlist. This is also customizable.

Plus you can share images for any game - this can be countdown for release, stars rating with note or just image with custom text.

## New game detail header design

The new "simple cover" makes the game art stand out more compared to cartridge. If you prefer the cartridge - you can keep using it. It is now red for Switch 2 only games.
